Remote MCP server

Edit Mont videos from Claude, ChatGPT, and MCP clients

Tools

What an approved AI client can do

  • Find and summarize your Mont projects
  • Inspect timelines, transcripts, slides, and media layout
  • Plan b-roll and add editable placeholder clips
  • Import media and place assets on the timeline
  • Adjust viewport, slide duration, transforms, and text
  • Request renders and retrieve finished export links

Access

What you approve

Mont uses OAuth, so the AI client does not receive your Mont password. After you approve access, the client can read and modify Mont project data through the MCP tools.

  • Project metadata, compositions, slides, timelines, and text objects
  • Media assets, transcripts, b-roll plans, render jobs, and exports
  • Signed Mont asset links returned by the tools so the AI client can preview or download outputs

You should only connect Mont to AI clients you trust. Mont handles project data, media, transcripts, render outputs, and diagnostic logs as described in the Privacy Policy.
